平成17年3月に集中再生期間が終了し、いよいよ今年度からは、飛躍に向けた基盤作りのステージに入りました。具体的には、高収益・高ブランド銀行への体質転換ということで、「システム統合による基盤整備」「地域を軸とした運営体制の強化」「サービス業への更なる進化」の3つの課題に重点的に取り組んでまいりました。このうちシステム統合につきましては、おかげさまで大きなトラブルもなく、昨年9月には無事統合作業が完了し、本年1月の奈良銀行とりそな銀行の合併とあわせ、グループ基盤強化のための大きな課題をクリアすることができました。統合作業および合併準備にあたりまして皆さまのご理解、ご協力を賜りましたことに改めて感謝申し上げます。また、平成16年4月より本格展開している地域運営体制につきましても、お客様にご提供するサービスの質やスピードの面で、多くの好事例が見られるようになってきました。今後は、この取り組みをさらに発展させ、本年４月からは、りそな銀行において、現在30ある地域を9地域3営業本部に集約することで、地域の権限を拡大し、さらに現場主義を徹底してまい
