In 2006, the Bus Project hosted the Rebooting Democracy Conference, engaging hundreds of Oregonians in a lively weekend of people-powered politics. In three action-packed days, folks gathered for workshops, trainings, issue-panels, and a unique ballot meausure caucus.

They soaked up sage words from the likes of Jim Hightower, David Sirota, Andrei Chierny, and Governors John Kitzhaber and Barbara Roberts. They left itching to make change—then went out and did just that.

This January, Rebooting Democracy is back.
