This weekend sees the 8th running of the Quelle Challenge Roth Triathlon, prior to establishing the Challenge branding this was Ironman Europe (from 1988). It is one of the largest triathlons/Ironman’s in the world with over 2500 competitors participating in this super fast event. How fast is it? Well, there have been 9 males go under 8 hours including the current Ironman World Record and 9 females have gone under 9 hours as well (including Kiwi gals Jo Lawn & Gina Ferguson).
