- Pahoia United was formed at the end of 2007 and has already experienced great success. The seven members are year 5 and 6 students from Pahoia School. They are lead by teacher Billy Edwards (AKA Mr.E) and are destined for big things.

On Monday the 8th of October 2007, eight remarkable Pahoia School students joined forces to create an extraordinary rock band. Billy Edwards (AKA Mr E), a classroom teacher, plans to give the rockers the experience that they need to achieve their potential.
Pahoia United was revealed to the world eight weeks later at a full school assembly where they performed their version of the classic U2 song, With Or Without You. The band then performed this song two weeks later to a crowd of six hundred at the end of year assembly held in the Katikati College Hall.
The band became a tight unit in a very short time and is destined to continue amazing audiences throughout 2008. Stay tuned to www.pahoiaunited.com, there’s going to be a lot of action.
