This is the website of Old Alabama rails, an organization whose mission is to recreate a living experience of Alabama transportation, economic and sociological history by development of a multi-use railpark, research center and excursion program on the restored site of the historic Western Railway of Alabama car and engine shops in north Montgomery, and to link important historic sites in Montgomery and Selma by rail.
