NRF Security was founded in 2001 by Neil Fechlie and Wendy Thomson, at the same time, the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (PSIA 2001) and The Security Industry Authority (SIA) were announced. From the early days of the business they shared a vision which places great importance on building a security company with a strong sense of professionalism and emphasis on customer service and staff training.
