Noroc.org is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to orphaned and hungry children in Romania. It serves vulnerable children in Romanian orphanages and institutions, as well as families in need. The organization traces its roots to 1991, when Dr. Fred White, an endocrinologist from Abilene, Texas, traveled to Romania and adopted a child following the post-Communist humanitarian crisis that left thousands of children in neglected state institutions.
