The Ohio Literacy Resource Center (OLRC), based at Kent State University, supports adult basic and literacy education (ABLE) programs across Ohio. It is funded through the Ohio Department of Education and the National Institute for Literacy, originating from the National Literacy Act of 1991. The OLRC works with state agencies, professional organizations, literacy coalitions, public libraries, and adult literacy providers, serving educators, tutors, administrators, and adult learners.
