A friendly, family-run kasbah, this is the favourite base to see the Merzouga dunes of the Sahara desert

Activities: Excursions to the dunes by camel or 4×4, with options of overnight stay in standard or luxury nomads' tents. One day trek with camels (walk or ride): departure around 9 a.m. to a small oasis where you will have lunch, return to the hotel after sunset in the sand dunes. For the more adventurous, camel treks of up to seven days' length may be arranged. As well as trips to the sand dunes, we recommend you visit the Marmar marble works near Erfoud, where a superb black fossiliferous rock is polished and sold. Bivouac
The ksar Bicha is located just outside the village of Merzouga and only a few steps from the Erg Chebbi. The double and triple rooms, all with private bath, are clean and comfortable. And for families in search of a night under the stars, ksar Bicha invites its guests to sleep on the terrace or in a tent, or experience the desert in a bivouac. Accommodation is half board. The cost of the pack trips varies with the size of the group and length of stay.
Les bivoucs de ksar bicha sont faits en plein désert le plus souvent loin de toute habitation pour passer la nuit à la belle étoile dans la plus pure tradition des berberes nomades. Le confort n'est pas oublié pour autant car, tous les soirs, la khaïma, la grande tente berbere est montée et des matelas sont mis à la disposition des participants. nos cuisiniers préparent le repas du soir à base de légumes et fruits, sans oublier la traditionnelle viande de chameau ou de mouton. Un aide-cuisinier est spécialement chargé de faire le thé à la mente qui peut être fait jusqu'à trois fois par jour. Un régal auquel on s'habitue très vite.
Au dunes d'erg chebbi , les dunes les plus hautes au sud marocain , les bivouacs ont lieu, soit en plein désert, soit en bordure des villages, soit dans des oiasis ou des hamada (plateaux )dans des endroits isolés où on respectera votre quiétude. Des matelas sont mis à votre disposition et midi et soir .Pour ceux qui ne veulent pas dormir à la belle étoile, la khaïma, la grande tente berbere est montée tous les soirs.
