Libraries Online, Inc. (LION) is a Connecticut-based not-for-profit consortium that provides a shared Integrated Library System and network services to member public, school, and academic libraries across southern and central Connecticut. Founded in 1982, it serves 22 member libraries and their 365,000 patrons, giving readers access to a combined catalog of roughly two million items. Members connect via LION's Wide Area Network or through the internet from home, school, or office.
