pulled from site's meta descriptionLars Attermann made his début in 2009 with the album Linjer Sagt I Regn but since then he has taken a new path. After some years of returning as both a guest and performer at the Texan festival South by Southwest, Lars Attermann decided to record his next album in Austin, Texas. He has fallen in love with the warm Texan swing and in 2012 he took off – searching to find the people that would engage in the project of combining the warm Americana with his Nordic melancholy. The perfect swing he located in Buda, just outside Austin, when meeting Will Sexton (producer). Will fell in love with the idea of Lars Attermann, his voice and his songs and together they composed new songs and subsequently brought on board Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylans guitarist) and Dony Wynn (drummer, among others for Robert Palmer and Steve Winwood). Hereby Lars Attermanns vision of Shanghaied into the Lonely Sea began to take form in a small studio far away from home.
