Leigh J. Halliwell graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Marietta College, Marietta, OH, with a double major in Mathematics and Physics. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. After beginning his actuarial career in 1988 at the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Mr. Halliwell became the Chief Actuary of the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corporation.
