Jagat Taran Girls Degree College was founded in 1975 as an associated college of the University of Allahabad and now it has been declared its constituent college when the University achieved Ccentral Status on 14th July, 2005. The College has the distinction of having a galaxy of meritorious teaching faculty. This institute of under graduate learning was established by the Jagat Taran Education Society, Allahabad which runs four other premier educational institutions of the city.
