He had been employed with a local metal fabricator as a shop foreman for several years, when he decided to become his own boss. Dad’s specialty was stainless fabrication and welding. Jones Metal Works, Inc. started off in a rental building on Battleground Ave. (across from Lowes Home Improvement).
