I think a more significant factor could be the trust we've built up with folks that are no longer patrolled. Not having to patrol blank edits would also help. I am not a huge fan of the multipe browers (for myself at least) as it could lend itself to woring like an automaton- doing RC to get to zero, which isn't always the point.
