Morningstar is a leading provider of investment information worldwide. As part of a Global network, Morningstar launched its services in the UK with www.morningstar.co.uk on March 15, 2001. The website offers easily accessible and objective information on more than 15000 Open-end funds, 4000 ISA funds, 400 ETFs, 500 Investment Trusts and more, available to individual investors in the UK. Using a set of Morningstar proprietary tools, investors are able to rank funds, compare funds, filter funds as well as read fund research and analysis, equity commentary and markets commentary. The Morningstar Portfolio Manager Tool allows investors to follow their fund and equities investments, free of charge.
Starting in 2009, following the acquisition of Hemscott, Morningstar.co.uk has started providing share prices for UK companies as well as other equity related tools.
In addition to detailed quantitative information, investors will also gain insight through editorial content produced by Morningstar analysts and journalists in both London and around the world.
