The new AboutUs tool (beta) ranks websites in any and every topic. Sites only appear in the topic lists of the topics they have on their AboutUs page. The presence and quality of the website summary is one factor that helps determine how high the website ranks in the list.

Summaries are intended to provide a compact summary of a given website. Can you SumUp a website in 63 characters or less?
- How to add a summary:
- If a page/website doesn't have a summary yet you will see "Example.com is ...be the first to SumUp this website!" To add your summary of the website click that "be the first" link, enter your summary, and then click the "Tell us!" button.
- How to change a summary:
- If a page/website already has a summary you can improve upon it and replace it with your own. To do so click the green "edit" button to the left of the existing summary, fill in yours, and then click the "Tell us!" button.

Topics (similar to tags or categories) and are meant to be topics that the site is about. (For example, Google.com should be in the topic "search engine" and CNN.com in "news".) Making sure that a site is listed under relevant topics is important, and quality > quantity.
Note: When you click on a topic on a domain page you will be taken to AboutUs' new website ranking tool (beta).

- While on the AboutUs page about the website click the green "(add a topic)" link.
