Who Are We? Founded in 1994, (Seattle) Super Supplements is a non-franchised, privately owned successful chain of discount vitamin stores which features quality name brands. Company founder and president, John Wurts, opened our first store with the vision of enormous selections of name brand supplements at substantially discounted prices. In addition to some of the best prices in the industry, Super Supplements also prides itself on having some of the most knowledgeable and passionate staff members in the industry. John carries with him nearly 20 years of experience in the vitamin supplement industry and has a passion for supplements, nutrition and sports alike. In late 2003 Seattle Super Supplements shortened its name to SuperSupplements and went on to open 5 new stores during 2004. We rounded out the year with the honor of being awarded Vitamin Retailer Magazine's "Best Independent Chain" in the nation. In 2005 Super Supplements opened stores in Everett, Puyallup and it's first store East of the Cascades in Spokane Valley. 2006 saw the opening of new stores in the Spokane area, Federal Way, Seattle, Bremerton, and Kennewick Washington. In 2007 we will open our first store outside of Washington.
Prices & Selection - The new stores, like our other locations will feature some of the most extensive selections of vitamins, herbs, homeopathics, and sports nutrition supplements anywhere, all while offering them at 10 to 70% off retail price! In fact, some of our larger stores have well over 30,000 individual items in thier inventory! And, one of the reasons Super Supplements is able to offer such low prices is because our growing number of Washington State store locations afford us more buying power through our distributors. This allows us to pass on substantial savings to you, our customers. We feel so strongly about this that we are willing to beat any other local retailer's everyday prices by 5%! * You will find that our everyday prices are almost always lower than our competition both on a local and a national level. Furthermore, we constantly offer additional savings in the form of our Super Specials and Line Drives which rotate on a bi-monthly basis!
