Consensus Poll Facilitator

Anyone can be a Consensus Poll Faciltator.

A consensus poll facilitator helps participants come to agreement through discussions and by helping them articulate their concerns more clearly. Also, it is important for consensus poll facilitators to direct polls in such a manner that they can reach a conclusion in optimal time; but at the same time ensure that the process is given enough time to evolve naturally. The responsibilities of a consensus poll facilitator include:

  • Actively participates in discussions
  • Facilitates participants by articulating their issues in a better way
  • Takes corrective measures to resolve edit wars and dead ends
  • Gives direction to the process while ensuring that the process evolves naturally

What does a facilitator do with the NotYets?
