From Orange County, California, David Kries writes about what it take to thrive one of the most competitive youth sports environments in the world. His two healthy happy kids are testament to the practices he has learned in ten years of researching and writing about scholar-athletes, youth fitness, nutrition, coaching, and sportsmanship.
Dave has more than 100 published articles and columns in magazines and newspapers. David also designs and maintains websites for corporations such as Sage Software. He lives in Southern California with his loving wife and two children. He also loves the California mountains. By the time he's an old man, he plans to hike, bike, ski and snowboard his way to many of the high spots in the Sierras, to better view the terrestrial manifestations of God's handiwork found there.
