Team 1351, Mitty Robotics "TKO" originally competed as AMHS Robotics "Nonlinear Regression." The team, started during the 2003-2004 school year, was born from the interest of several Archbishop Mitty High School students who had joined the AMHS Science Club. This initial group of students had competed together at the 2003 San Jose Tech Museum of Innovation's Tech Challenge.
