Affitech A/S was formed in May 2009 by a combination of Oslo, Norway-based Affitech AS, a human antibody therapeutics company, and Pharmexa A/S, a publicly-traded vaccine research and development company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The integration of the two companies marks the formation of a world-leading antibody therapeutics company due to the antibody discovery expertise and product pipeline of Affitech and the drug development capabilities, processes and infrastructure of Pharmexa.
