Darby Anderson is an artist who captures the fleeting effects of nature and explores man's connection to the landscape. He paints both in his studio and on location (in plein-air). His paintings, full of dappled light and color, show the influence of both Impressionism and Realism. Darby works primarily in the Midwest and Great Plains states. If there is a dusty backroad to be found, he has probably taken it.
