Dr. Timothy Shields enjoys working with both children and adult patients to help each individual achieve a fantastic smile. Dr. Shields earned his Master of Science in Dentistry in 1983 from the University of Washington Department of Orthodontics after graduating in 1981 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with honors. His original research into post-orthodontic treatment tooth movement was published in the "American Journal of Orthodontics" and continues to be cited in on going research.
Dr. Shields feels that it is critical to remain at the forefront of technological advancements in orthodontics. Consequently, he attends numerous orthodontic education programs, and he is actively involved in a study group with seven other Northwest orthodontists.
