Dutch photographer Genie Dee has lived in Scotland since 2002. Her photographs have been exhibited in Holland at the Museum for Magic Realism and at the Westfries Gasthuis. In Scotland Genie has exhibited at Castle Menzies (Weem), the Locus Centre (Aberfeldy), and the Royal Botanical Gardens (Edinburgh). Her work is regularly exhibited at the Birnam Insitute and is featured in the community website BAD info.
Although Genie still undertakes architectural and product photography work, her favourite form of photography remains that of portraiture.
