In 1991, NYC’s FlatRate Moving Systems developed a totally new concept offering customers an all-inclusive, guaranteed, one-price move. FlatRate movers are highly trained in an ongoing training system. The foremen are required to complete a total of 300 hours of moving experience before they take charge on a move crew. The movers themselves go through extensive training before getting on-the-job experience.

FlatRate maintains $5 million worth of General Liability insurance, as well as required Workers’ Compensation insurance coverage. Nearly every commercial office building in New York City requires insurance certificates prior to any work performed on the premises.
