Tart Frozen Yogurt and Frozen Custard are of the highest quality and made locally. Tart Frozen Yogurt is naturally fat free containing live active cultures. Being the only vendor for Frozen Custard in Portland we strive maintain a high standard; our vintage Custard machine is a veteran from Coney Island. Frozen Yogurt & Custard can be accompanied by fresh cut fruit, a selection of granolas, as well as, M&Ms, toffee, or various cereals such as Lucky charms and Coco Puffs.
A Touch of History
Since Tart's launch it has been recognized for its instant emotional connection with the neighborhood. The owners Ryan and Stuart have lived in the neighborhood for 15 years. They wanted to open a family business that their three children, who go to the local grade school, could grow up with. The store's decoration of patron's hand prints graphically illustrates Tart's connection with the community.
Some of Our Other Offerings
The Clover Coffee machine has gained a cult following for the heavenly coffee it produces. Making only one cup of coffee at a time, the Clover uses precise temperature and steep time to coax the best flavor out of freshly roasted beans. The resulting cup of coffee is tailor made for that individual customer.
Other offerings include Roots Organic beer, Cookies from Two Tarts Bakery and Voodoo Doughnuts. At Tart you can have a refreshing and healthy Frozen Yogurt, a decadent and delicious Frozen Custard, enjoy the finest “coffee & Doughnuts” in the city, or just have a beer while your kids are occupied with a frozen treat.
