The process of listing a home or getting in touch with someone who has listed is extremely intuitive. There's no red tape, no forms to fill before you're allowed to get in touch with a homeowner, and no misleading advertising. The site is free, easy to use, and open to anybody and everybody. Search The Listings for a Home
The List4Homes listings are extremely easy to use. The main page opens up onto a map of Canada, just click the province you plan to buy or rent in. This will take you onto a listing of all the cities in the province. Click on the city you plan to buy in, click search, and select the specific neighborhood you plan to search in, or just select 'All Neighborhoods'. Next screen, just select the the type of property you're looking for, list a price range, (or leave the field blank for all price ranges) and click search. Viola! you'll be presented with a listing of all the houses in the neighborhood that are up for sale or rental. And that's where the real fun begins.
Detailed Information
Once you've got a listing of all the houses that fit the description you've provided, you can click on any one of them to get detailed information. Each 'Property Details' page lists some excellent information, and has a great section with photos of the exterior and interior that you can click on to enlarge. Additionally you get a Google Map Inset so you see where the house is located.

If you look at the scrollable side-bar, you get a complete portfolio of photos, taken from both the interior and the exterior of the house. You can browse through the photo gallery, clicking on each picture to see an enlarged version.
Beneath the map, (not visible in this screenshot) is all the information on the house and the location that isn't provided above. And if you happen to have any additional questions, the owner or realtor's phone number is prominently displayed.
Listing Your Homes for Rent or Sale
If you thought getting information off the List4Homes website was easy, you'll be surprised at how easy it is to list your property for rent or sale. All you need to do is create an account and add a listing. You'll be asked to fill in a one-page form, upload any photos of the property you have, and that's it, your property is listed!
