Social Work in Progress is an organization of social workers and volunteers who help in the caring for and rehabilitating of families, individuals and small groups. They also help in the training and development of new social workers.

The services that Social Work In Progress currently offers are
- Geriatric Care Management Services
- They provide a step by step program to help the user in resolving their problems of dealing and coping with old age. They also address all the legal as well as the financial concers of the user in regard to living arrangements and other end of life issues
- Professional Development
- They specialize in training and developming social work staff and teaches them to critically thinking and clinical judgment so as they can better take care of and understand their charge.
- Temporary Social Work
- Social Work in Progress also provides temporary social work services, Which means they can substitute regular care givers who are on leave so that the care giving process does not stop. In addtion to this they provide clinical consultation to skilled rehab and nursing centers throughout Greater Boston.

- Having been a part of the industry for over 14 years Ms.Jules Giggie has worked as eldercare consultant for a large healthcare company for over seven years, providing training and seminars to corporations in the Greater Boston area. She holds a BA from Clark University and an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin.
- Sarah Wright, MSW, LICSW
- She has been a part of the industry for 10 years and served as an expert reviewer of an interactive, self-paced online training course for the Institute of Geriatric Social Work at Boston University. She holdsBSW from The Catholic University of America and an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis.
