I'm the technology reporter for The Roanoke (Va.) Times, a technology columnist for USA Today, a course leader for CNET. Photography is my biggest hobby, but I also like dabbling in all sorts of other technology. I'm from New York City, but left after about 25 years, going to Connecticut, New Jersey, Cincinnati, Columbus (Ohio), and now Roanoke.
