About
Visual Collaborative is an annual group exhibit/networking event focused on creative professionals and visual artists from all around the country, showcasing a rich blend of media work. This includes New Media Design, Abstract Art, Interactive Design, Oil paintings, and traditional painting styles.
History
The exhibition/opening cocktail reception is organized and produced by Adeave Studios, an Interactive Design & Technology Company that operates nationally and Icy Public Relations -- ICYPR a PR boutique firm focused on International Fashion and Entertainment. The first Visual collaborative event was held in Minneapolis, MN on March 16th 2007. The exhibition was one week long and drew over 2000 attendees to its location. The second series will be held in Miami, FL in April 2008.
Community
The event features local and nationally known artists showcasing at least 5 pieces of their art collection. The goal of the event is to educate, inform and entertain the society about these new artists, build a steady bridge between the community and the arts and give back to the community with new ideas such as auctioning a piece of artwork.
Giving back
Visual Collaborative has established a new program designed to give back to the community through the arts. This program will highlight various charities every year and a piece of art designed by a Visual collaborative artist will be auctioned and the proceeds will go to benefit the choice of charity organization that year. This also gives a chance to raise awareness of many of these various organizations. This year a piece of art work designed specifically for Visual Collaborative theme (FEED THE HUNGRY) will be auctioned at the exhibition launch and the proceeds will go to benefit the World Vision Charity.
