Elysium
About Us
Elysium is a Progressive/Heavy Metal band founded by Ghazanfar, Aftab and Jibran. After being part of various band line-ups they decided to converge to form Elysium in late 2006, deciding on a common musical direction that inspired them. The standards were defined, the goals set, and things started to move ahead in early 2007.
Influences ranging from classic rock to the most extreme metal genre present and legendary bands like Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, Rush, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Judas Priest, etc., they decided the genre of the band as Progressive/Heavy Metal. The search to complete the line-up commenced.
After much effort and dead ends Elysium met up with Raafae Khan, and after a couple of jams Raafae was taken up as the vocalist for the band.

We are currently in the writing phase, locked up in the studio, so the performance scene is pretty much off right now. But we shall be back in the pool VERY soon with a new original. Stay tuned!
