Discussion
- The site is using a wiki design, originally designed by Paulgu.com released for free as long as a linkback was included. The link has been removed from wiki.artsapience.com. --Simon | talk 10:45, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- Also, a lot of the content seems to be from Wikipedia in violation of the Wikipedia license. --Simon | talk 12:25, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- also I have fairly used information sources from wikipedia as a partial source for information and it is not as you claim stolen as it is freely usable in part from that source, this was my understanding of the information from that source, if this in not correct I shall use other resources in future references, either way let me know so I can make amendments to the wiki resources.

- Simon, I think the ArtSapience.com CC-by-nc-sa breaks wikipedia's GFDL. Could you speak to that point? TedErnst | talk 14:34, 13 November 2007 (PST)

- A. Pages like this http://wiki.artsapience.com/Pedophilia are verbatim copy from Wikipedia, without complying to the license that allows Wikipedia content to be freely accessed. B. Your CC-by-nc-sa license does not allow any Wikipedia content on your site even if your were complying with the GNU-FDL. --Simon | talk 15:22, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- Changes to the site:
- I have corrected the copyright issue as you can see at this link http://wiki.artsapience.com/Definition_Of_Terms (Thanks for pointing that out)
- Also the location I orginally obtained the Wiki theme was http://www.freesharez.com/ (It did not say anything about a link back but I have corrected that.)
- Also I have updated the methods you can use to report illegal activities http://wiki.artsapience.com/Report_Illegal_Activities
-
- It is at times difficult to determine what came from where but I do remember collecting information from that website as it does not appear to have any copyright statements and is more of a generic list of what people should know to help protect their children, I honestly don't think the site would mind me using the information to help protect children from harm but if you feel I should ask the site directly as an option I would take your advice as copyright would appear to be your niche on the aboutus website. I could send them an email and ask them to check the site if you feel it would be necessary? --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by ART (talk • contribs) .
- Original artwork (which includes text), is automatically copyright under United States, Canadian, UK and a bunch of other countries laws. Also http://wiki.artsapience.com/Laws_Canada is taken from Wikipedia. --Simon | talk 17:56, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- Hey ART, tell us about this? http://forum.artsapience.com/ TedErnst | talk 18:18, 13 November 2007 (PST)
- The dedicated server that the Art Sapience website is hosted on is to be shutdown at the end of the month and everything on the site is just sitting there but not accessible, the forum is locked down and you cannot register, most of the forums have been purged apart from the ones explaining to users what is going on (you can imagine how many emails I would receive asking the same questions so that is all the forum is for now), all links to the site should be null and void, the username alias ART (including the username -:A:-:R:-:T:-) and the ArtSapience.com alias will also disappear from the internet and being I am a member of perverted-justice.com I shall be doing my best in the next website that I start to be a good debater and create a suitable environment to discuss this topic without breaching any laws. The information on the Art Sapience Wiki site is actually for the new website that will be of similar content but a completely different server location than the current website. As usual I am more than happy to discuss any topic you wish... ART | talk
