What (summary)
Provide users with options on domain pages:
Owner Options
- This is great, how can I improve my page more? -> Send user to questionnaire which builds an improved page, and then drop them off with help so they can do more in a free form manner afterwards
- How can I watch this page and get updates if it changes? -> Send user to related help screens
- How can I OptOut? -> Give them an easy way to NoBot and explain what a NoBot is
- Version A) NoBot and others can still edit the page (default)
- Version B) NoBot and the page is locked from further edit Send user to a questionnaire which guides them through this process and then leaves the review on the site
- I think this organization can improve and I want to provide some constructive suggestions -> Sends user to a questionnaire which carefully guides them through creating constructive criticism
- At the end of either process, the user must be logged in with a valid e-mail address. User should also be encouraged to have a decent user page so that the organization knows they are a real person.
Why this is important
This will make "what to do" clearer for people arriving cold at a domain page, and encourage the kind of participation we want.
DoneDone
When the above options are made available to owners and readers alike and we can test a few members of both constituents to see if they feel that the instructions are clear and results as expected.
