At the introduction of the World Wide Web, the principle owners of img saw tremendous potential for Maine business owners who had traditionally been at a disadvantage due to geographic location. In fact, the Web was so new that as we began our trek across Maine, it was not uncommon for business owners to reply: World, Wide, What? In July of 1995, the Maine Resource Guide web site was launched. The MaineGuide.com web site became the first, statewide commercial web site for vacation planning in Maine.
Today, the Maine Resource Guide is proud to house hundreds of Maine business web sites, providing the most comprehensive web site for Maine business on the Internet.
