About those Double-Underlined Links
Since we depend on advertising revenue to offer you free access to JupiterWeb sites and forums, we continually search for ad media that are relevant and not obtrusive to our users. The double-underlined green links that you see on some of our pages are a trial of a new advertising technology called IntelliTXT.
IntelliTXT scans each page for both appropriate keywords and contextual relevancy. The keywords have been chosen to be relevant to our site, such as "CPU," "PDA," or "digital camera."
If a match is found, a clearly visible advertising link—indicated by a green or yellow double underline—is automatically generated. Some pages will have no links; others may have as many as five.
