Robert Harrison, MD, Medical Director Dr. Harrison received his MD from Northwestern University and is a Board-Certified Internist with a Subspecialty in Endocrinology. Dr. Harrison has directed University-based weight loss programs for over 15 years. He is Professor of Medicine Emeritus at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and licensed in New York. Dr. Harrison directs a staff who prepare lessons that are emailed to clients and who provide additional counseling through the group forums. Dr. Harrison also writes the "Weight Loss News Items" section of this site and provides regular input to the groups as well.
W. Gayle Harrison, Ph.D., Director of Lifestyle Counseling Dr. Harrison received her Ph.D. from Boston College and specializes in Behavioral Psychology. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Harrison has provided weight loss lifestyle counseling and participated in weight loss research at the University of Rochester and the University of Arkansas.
Deborah Iovoli, RD, MS., Director of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology Ms. Iovoli received her RD from the Rochester Institute of Technology and her MS in Exercise Physiology from Syracuse University. Ms. Iovoli directed a corporate health program and provided nutritional and exercise counseling for over ten years before coming to beeSlender.
