We transcribe music from an audio source and write it on a score. This means customized sheet music. We accept all formats of digital audio and deliver the musical scores via email in pdf format. Your musical score may include notes, chords, graphics, tablatures, or any other elements to meet your needs. Our transcriptions are professional and accurate. The service is fast and not expensive. At The Note Lab you get printed music that you will not get anywhere else or is not available for sale.
What can we transcribe?
Lead Sheets
A Lead Sheet (also known as fake music) includes the main melody, the chord symbols printed above the staff, and lyrics. It may contain additional symbols to indicate rhythmic devices (known as hits or kicks) that an ensemble might be required to play in unison. A lead sheet is easier to sightread than conventional sheet music.
Choral Arrangements
Choral arrangements just like the ones you hear in your recording or in accordance with your needs. We can include the Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass parts that you require.
A Capella Arrangements
We can write your favorite a cappella arrangement.No mattrer where you heard it, we can transcribe it. You can also ask for original a capella arrangements.
Brass / Strings Sections
Arrangements for string or brass sections just as you hear them in your recording. We can adapt arrangements according to the size of your section.
Whole Orchestra / Parts
We can transcribe each of the instruments played in a musical piece, regardless of its genre and difficulty level. The score can be adapted in accordance with the instruments that you require. If you are interested in a particular instrument played in a song (the bass line, guitar chords or any other) we transcribe it.
Solos

The scores in a "Piano, Guitar, and Voice" format are ready to perform a song while the voice is accompanied by a piano or a guitar. The score includes the voice's melodic line with the lyrics linked to the notes and piano accompaniment. It also includes the guitar-chord symbols printed above the staff.

How?
As you may understand, the pricing and logistics may vary, depending on the type of service that you request, but basically it works like this:

Cost
So, How much is it? That depends.It depends on the service that you are requesting, the number of bars to be transcribed, the style, and duration of the piece. Our hour-rate is $29 dlls. A common transcription at a medium difficulty level take us about three or four hours. Of course there are transcriptions lower than $29 dlls if we can make them in fewer minutes.
