Description
You may wonder what ‘URateStuff’ is? URateStuff is a platform for consumers to voice their opinions on millions of products that are manufactured by and sold throughout the world.
Ordinary people like you and me can submit products reviews, which consist of our experiences with using a product.It is a public website and others can read and rate what you have submitted. If your review is great and many people like it, then its status is upgraded and it is promoted to the first page of the website where millions of people visiting the website can read it.
As soon as you submit the review, it will be shown under the heading “Upcoming Reviews”. Other visitors and members can find them there and if they like it, they may rate it. However if the submission doesn’t attract enough ratings in the set timeframe of 30 days, then it is removed from the “upcoming” section. But if there are many ratings then it is sent to the home page of the site and is honored by being placed in “Top 15” section of the website. It is based on the popularity of the submission and the number of ratings it has received.

There are many tools in URateStuff to help you in your search for product reviews. The submissions come in 'Tag cloud' and 'Real-Time Site Activity'. They are the real time visual tools of URateStuff. You may even place RSS feeds of the various topics and the new sections, users and the search items that you like and need.
Participate
When you Rate the submission you like, you participate in the editing process of the site. Your rating contributes to the count of the submission and your friends can view your profile of ratings which you build. When you "Bury” a review that you don’t like, the editing process is geared towards removing it from the system. It is a very effective way of removing spam.
You may build up a friend list in the UrateStuff system and your friends can keep track of what you rate and subscribe to your already submitted RSS feeds.
Comment
You may even share your views on various reviews with others.
