I use the "nickname" field in my preferences to leave a link directly to [[TedErnst]] instead of the default [[User:TedErnst]] when I type "<nowiki>~~~</nowiki>".  Several times recently I've found that "<nowiki>~~~</nowiki>" actually renders as "TedErnst" (not a link).  When I go to preferences after this happens, I find that the "[[" and "]]" are missing.  I put them back and things work for a while and then poof, they're gone again.  I'm sure this is low priority, but thought you might want to know. User Talk Pages

Hi Jason! Great job with the welcoming :-) Whenever you leave a message on someone's user talk page, the next time they visit a page they'll get a big yellow banner that alerts them that they have a message. You should have gotten one for this page. The convention is to respond on the other person's user talk page. Brandon

Remote

Okay so I was wrong, to pair your Mac with a remote you hold down menu and ff for five seconds. However, if you really want to get nasty, hold down the play/pause button for five seconds and you'll put everybody's computer to sleep. :ScottKeeler | talk

weird bug

I use the "nickname" field in my preferences to leave a link directly to TedErnst instead of the default User:TedErnst when I type "~~~". Several times recently I've found that "~~~" actually renders as "TedErnst" (not a link). When I go to preferences after this happens, I find that the "[[" and "]]" are missing. I put them back and things work for a while and then poof, they're gone again. I'm sure this is low priority, but thought you might want to know. TedErnst
