- Most coders born around the same time as myself have a similar history. Bought their first TR-7386i machine code interpreter at Compu70's and punched in their first tic-tac-toe game at age 8, spent their teens coding 8bit games and looking at pixelated monochrome ladies on the Arpanet, demonstrated their first realtime globaly-illuminated raytracer on a Commodore CD32 running eight chained Amiga 4000 processors at age 20, etc.
- Ok, slight exageration, but either way, 32bit graphics were already mainstream on the PC before I even bothered turning one on so I've had a lot of catching up to do. It's been fun though.
