The content at http://www.samliew.com was created in late 2001 from a web-design course taken by Samuel Liew. He constantly improved on it, adding features and information along the way, changing self-created templates, while seeking reviews from friends and forums.

A blog (http://samuelliew.blogspot.com) was started in early 2003, and it was linked to from the site. There were several revisions to the template. Now it is re-created at (http://www.samliew.com/blog/), powered by wordpress, with most of the archives from the old blog.

Scripting

Although simple DHTML was used during the first few versions of the website, JavaScript (or JScript) was added during the period when it was hosted at g-e-tech.com. The host offered free hosting with PHP and without advertisements, which allowed for improvement and addition of ideas not possible with the previous hosts.

Also, Samuel joined HTML Help Central forums and coded several scripts for the members. These and other scripts that he did are being showcased.
