Proggressive auction: Each bid increases the price. When the timer runs out, the winner will get the item for the winning price.
Reverse auction: Each bid reduces the price. When the timer runs out or the price reaches zero, the auction is over. It is very common for the price to go down to zero and in that circumstance, the winner will get the item for free.
