I guess noone of you can remember the beginning of this site. It all started back in 1998. I was pretty new to the internet and was searching for websites about my favourite actresses to find some information. All I found were some REALLY bad sites, with almost no content and some bad graphics. I was so frustrated. And then the idea of this site was born.

I started to search for those sites that offered what I was looking for: content and a nice layout. Back then the site was called "Wonderful Women" and had only sites about female celebrities. The site began with maybe a dozen links, but it grew constantly.

At some time in 1999 I changed the thing into the "Elite Fan Sites" where I began to list fansites of all kinds.
