About Professor Newcomb I am one of five Adjunct Professors who work directly with the College of Sciences, of San Diego State University. I am the Chairman and major member of World Wide Assets LLC, and the creator of the Laguna Salada development project currently in pre-start-up phases in Mexicali. This will be the largest development project in the world, by far. My partner Bill Seach and I have been creating a series of hedge funds to help with those developments and the project will pull the Cucapah Indians out of poverty. Way out of poverty. We have also been creating a very innovative concept for carbon credit company named Libby 14, the innovation here being on Bill's part who is nigh on genius with financial instruments. I am the proud father of three incredible kids, Jeremiah is a graduate from UCSD and attending USD Law School just back from summer session at Oxford, he will make one heck of an attorney. Kimberly is at SDSU studying communications with a minor in psychology going for her Masters in Homeland security, where I am also on faculty, and Timothy is one of the best students I have ever seen, passing AP Chemistry in 11th grade, graduating with a 4.3gpa, now also at SDSU. It is one university with 23 campuses, 417,000 students, and over 46,000 faculty. San Diego State University is the largest campus of CSU. The motto of the University is Vox Veritas Vita, or Voice Truth Life in Latin. All people ought to voice truth at all times throughout life. Of course, that assumes you believe in objective truth, something many at the University strangely now dispute, however, it is hard to say “there is no truth” without making statements you claim are objectively true. So much for rationality. SDSU is the largest campus of California State University with 40,000+ students annually and competed with my son Jeremiah's Alma Mater (UCSD) for the largest-in-the-city competition until 2007. In 2007 SDSU became the second largest university in California. The motto of SDSU is "Minds that Move the World." I try to comply with this also. I am one of only five adjunct professors working directly with the College of Sciences at SDSU. That is, not in a department. Professors derive their title from who they work for, so I am a Professor of Sciences. At the College I work under Professor Eric Frost and Bob Welty at the Center for Information Technology and Infrastructure (CITI) and am the Director of Operations for the International Consortium of Advanced Technologies and Security (ICATS), and am the Principle Investigator at ICATS and Assistant to Director, Interdisciplinary Studies Masters Degree Program in Homeland Security focusing on Curriculum and Program Enhancement. I have been told I am the world's leading authority on geothermal desalination since I have worked on 4 prototypes and various modifications and designs of two separate types of geothermal systems, which apparently is unusual. Current: Chairman of the Board, Director, member, World Wide Assets LLC, and Strident Ltd. I am the author of the company business plans including the plans to develop Laguna Salada in Baja California. It is his design of the geothermal desalination device that is the enabling technology for that development project. I developed, with the help of the Regents Group, the organization and original plans for Anaheim Garden Walk, a 29.1 acre $600,000,000 multi use development which includes a combination of well known retailers (634,700 sq.ft. retail), numerous restaurants, and four hotels with >1500 rooms, the large development in Anaheim across the street from Disneyland, currently under development and leasing up. The plans include a transportation center for Anaheim (10,200sq.ft. bus terminal and shuttle port). MAC created several LLC’s which owned and managed the early stages of the development. At the same time I developed similar multi-use plans for a 3000 acre parcel of property on the island of Hawaii.
