WHY SOY PROTEIN is used in bath and body products!

Soybean oil has a small molecular structure which enables it to go into the epidermis (top layer of your skin). Unlike other oils that sit on top of your skin, soy actually nestles into the cellular structure and stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and other proteins. It moisturizes and protects the cells without clogging them, and washes away easily, again, unlike other oils. It's properties are important for cell growth and regeneration by reversing abnormal cell formations. Soy based skin care products even out skin tone and can correct pigmentation brought about by hormonal changes and damaging sun exposure. Soy softens and smooths skin texture, and moisturizes too. The protein, amino acids, and lipids found in this wonderful bean allow for rapid hydration and cell regeneration. Soy is naturally rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and lecithin which benefit the skin when applied topically. Topical application of Vitamin E promotes healing and regeneration through it's antioxidant properties. Essential fatty acids help moisturize the collagen below the skin surface and lecithin helps maintain the elasticity of the skin, helping to smooth out fine lines and prevent premature aging. Soy contains phytoestrogens (plant estrogens), that help your skin cells rejuvenate. This type of estrogen will not go into your blood stream. Even though the molecular structure of soy is smaller than other oils, the soy cannot get into the blood stream due to the two skin layers of the epidermis. Soy is an omnipotent vegetable since we not only eat and drink it, but we also use it in skin care products and in AMAZING SOY CANDLES. The whole plant is used. And the process for making soy products uses recyclable enzymes rather than harsh solvents, so there is no toxicity and no waste generation in its manufacture. What could be better? Beautiful skin, clean air and water, healthy bodies, wonderful soy candles, supporting schools and our American farmers!

DID YOU KNOW?

Soy candles help the U.S. economy & farmers. The production and burning of soy wax candles can greatly benefit the American agricultural economy. If soy wax replaced common paraffin wax (a petroleum by-product)an estimated 60 million pounds of soybeans would be required for annual candle production.
