TedErnst's Comments on StereoManuals.com
* TedErnst (frustrated) : I am frustrated by the unsolicited email from StereoManuals.com. If your offer (internet advertising) is legitimate, and you have actually visited AboutUs, you would know how to reach us in a more personal way. Please give it a try! gray
reply

** Rick Stout's reply : Why be so easily frustrated? Of course I have been on Aboutus.org, many times and our site has been on it for quite awhile also. Just how is one supposed to send anything other than an "unsolicted" email to someone who didn't ask them to in advance... jeesh! Just because someone sends you something that you didn't ask in advance to have sent, does not necccessarily make them a jerk, illegimate a spammer, etc. Some folks need to lighten up just a bit. I spent quite awhile trying to figure out the best address to send the email, including doing a whois lookup. I said in the message that if you were not the right person or a decision maker, to please forward it to a decision maker. gray
reply

*** TedErnst's reply : I didn't call you a jerk, nor was I hostile. I was attempting to help you. The subject line of your email, and the way you sent it is not a very effective way to make a sales pitch. I wrote the frustrated comment because I want you to get better at what you do, because sending the email the way you did is quite similar to what spammers do. Note that I did not call is spam or a scam or anything else. Of course it's related to what we do, and therefore not spam. It's clearly a relevant solicitation. And your flying off the handle about my comment frankly does not inspire confidence in me, when thinking about wanting to work with you. gray
reply
