About the author
My name is John and I am a Paris passionate. I have been to the French capital city quite a few times over the years but it always surprises me. It is very tourist intensive and yet I find it easy to escape the crowd and enjoy it like a Parisian would.
Is this just another Paris guide?
Well, I am obviously not reinventing the wheel but the purpose of this guide is to bring to the first time Paris visitor concise practical and unbiased information about where to stay in Paris.
Paris is one of the most visited city in the world and you would think that finding practical information on the Internet to organize your trip shouldn't be too difficult.
In fact quite the contrary, when I do a search on the major engines, I find it frustrating to mainly find websites packed with commercial offers with little valuable info about what Paris has to offer to its visitors.
Don't get me wrong, booking a hotel or a ticket at the best rates is part of the process but finding out first what is the best Paris area to stay according to your your taste makes sense.
