Precision Metalsmiths, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio and Markesan, Wisconsin manufactures ferrous and non-ferrous investment castings up to 10 pounds in over 200 air-meltable alloys. PMI uses the lost wax process to create near net shape parts at total lower cost due to reduced need for secondary machining. Founded by Robert Miller in 1945, the foundry specializes in solid mold (Investment Band) and shell mold (Shellvest) process.
