Description
Alex's DBZ RPG is a roleplaying game created by Penguin Run Games based in the universe of the Dragonball Z anime. Members may take the role of one of the many characters from the show in a bid to increase their power levels and become the strongest fighter. The game is reliant on heavy writing by the players and it takes a certain level of dedication to play such an intricate game.

Alex's DBZ RPG Version 3.0 was released in 2004-2005. This version was more heavily reliant upon roleplaying than its predecessor. It was hacked only three months after its opening. This led it to an early closure.
Alex's DBZ RPG Version 4.0 was scheduled to open in 2005. It never was completed, however, and was replaced by another project.
Success And Controversy
The current forums have over 1,000 registered members, a feat very rarely seen in teh DBZ RPG world. The site has rarely had less than 40 active characters since it was first created. Though this site has been a lot of success over the years of its activity, it has been the target of a lot of kids in their harassment and spamming of the forums and sites that it is listed under. ADBZRPG has also spawned hundreds of copy-cat RPGs, most notably one called DBZ Rising, and been the target of many site wars.

My review
Hi, I'm from alexsdbzrpg and would prefer to remain anonymous. I was browsing through the forums on the site and found a few topics that seemed to revolve around this article and I thought I would take a look (those topics were pretty heated which is why I want to be anonymous. I don't want to make anyone mad. They were also hard to understand because parts of them were completely edited so I won't remark an anything other than my own experiences). Well, I just want to add my two cents in. The above history does seem exxagerated but who can blame him, he runs a great site you know? Anyway, I wasn't there that's just my two cents on that part. The only other part I really want to comment on is where it says the forum has over 1000 members. Well that's just silly. Yes, over 1200 people have regsitered at the forums, but I'd be willing to bet money that over 1000 of those registrants no longer frequent the site. I think if the owner deleted all the inactive people from his forums there would be less than 100 posters. Well thats just my two cents, thanks for your time.-Anonymous (I don't want to make anyone, especially the owner, mad. A lot of people were banned in those topics!)
